# Staking

As we did not want to distribute tokens through classic staking, we came up with a new way of doing it.

The minimum to participate in staking is 100 PROT. You can choose between different lock periods, each of them gives a different earn bonus:

2 weeks: 0.2% per 100 PROT\
1 month: 0.4% per 100 PROT\
3 months: 0.8% per 100 PROT

Those who stall for 3 months automatically participate in the lottery (see [***Lottery***](https://armzlegends.gitbook.io/a/lottery) for more information)

### Example

#### No staking:

1 win against Boss #2 earns the player 4.3 PROT

#### With 5000 PROT lock for 1 month:

1 win against Boss #2 earns the player 5.16 PROT (+20%)
